On a cold but bright sunny Sunday, the Keswick Under 8's team travelled to Creighton RUFC to take part in the 2nd festival of the season. Keswick dominated the first match by showing off their well drilled training & excellent teamwork to win 6-2 with tries scored by Jamie Thomas, Theo Wallace, Frazer Kirkbride & 'Team Stephenson' - Ellen Rose & James. The 2nd & 3rd matches against Cockermouth & Egremont both ended as draws, but once again Keswick showed skill & determination throughout & not to be out done, Liam Kirkbride & newest member of the team Connor Cockbain both got onto the score sheet aswell making it tries all round for the team. As usual credit to coach Andy Wallace (with his broken thumb) who managed to get the best out the whole team yet again & thanks to all the parents who turned out for a great days rugby. If that wasn't enough, most of the team then travelled to Penrith for a football tournament- early nights where had all round on Sunday!!!
