Penrith V Keswick U14 Boys. Sunday 1st March 2026

Well deserved win for U14 boys. Penrith 21-33 Keswick

Keswick played a very good & large Penrith team today @ Penrith with a horrible cross wind.
Being the home side and having won the last 2 games they were very confident.
Penrith started off early with a quick try & conversion as Keswick always start slow ?. Keswick rallied really well and got a converted try, all square.
Penrith got another converted try, the lads dug deep & got a converted try back., all square again.
The score at half time was 21-19.
Keswick came out of the blocks with speed, aggression & tenacity putting Penrith on the back foot.
Keswick reacted with more tries from J.Hattrick and N.Gruner and conversions by our main kicker S.Bardsley ??
Keswick took the game by the scruff of the neck with tackling from everyone with such accuracy and aggression the Penrith boys were looking shaken as to who they were playing and could not get close in the contact areas.
End score 21-33
Everyone contributed to this great win with tackling, mindset and a 'never going to get beat attitude' ??
We could not pick any man of match as everyone played brilliantly, with their never say die attitude and we could not be any prouder of the boys.
Hard work at training, on horrible dark nights have paid off ?????❤️❤️
