A major part of our fundraising was the sale of pavers which have been placed in the bar and on the terrace of Bar 1879. A magnificent 120 pavers were purchased for £1000 or £5000 through the generosity of supporters from near and far. On Thursday night we were able to open our doors and show off the new clubhouse, before it opens to the public next week.

Everyone was keen to find their paver and have a tour of the facilities and the feed back was very positive. Tim Green, President, welcomed everyone and thanked them for their generosity which has enabled the completion of a building which will be a real asset for the community to use.
