Keswick U9s welcomed over 100 young players for a fantastic rugby festival, full of energy and enthusiasm.

It was our first set of matches this season, but you wouldn't have known it from the way the teams took to the field. We had 17 players turn up and fielded 2 teams. The players showed confidence from the first whistle, making some solid tackles, carrying the ball well and looking to take the game to their opponents.

There was plenty of encouraging rugby on display, with the team putting their skills into practice and showing great intent in both attack and defence. It was a promising start to the season and gives us plenty to build on in the weeks ahead.

A big thank you to all the coaches, volunteers, parents and visiting teams who helped make the festival such a success.
