During the summer holidays our grandstand has undergone a transformation due to the dedication of a small group of volunteers. The stand has been cleaned and repainted (in club colours of course!) and the bench seating has been replaced, just in time for the start of the season. Thanks to Carlisle Windows we also have new glazing in the end sections of the stand so spectators can expect to be nice and cosy whilst watching games. Even the old wrought iron gate has been refurbished and reinstated. With easy access across the terrace into Bar 1879, it is now one of the best places in the county to watch rugby union.
Our thanks go to: David Thomas, Simon Grisdale, Brian Roper, Chris Pratt, Adrian Pattinson, Jamie Weightman, Chris Greenwell, Peter Grave, Mark Goodall and Matty Newton.
