In what can only be described as character-building weather, Keswick U10s travelled to Workington and played five tough games against Zebras, Millom, Whitehaven, Penrith and Carlisle.
Despite the wind and rain the boys fronted up well, showing real grit in both attack and defence. There were standout performances from Connor Kirk and Will Dixon, who consistently carried the ball hard, made ground, and put in the work in defence.
Jack Sadler captained the side for the festival, led by example and put in some excellent tackles.
Every player contributed across the day. Well done Jayden, Will, Connor, Jack, Dylan, George, Jackson, Tommy, Leo and Eddie.
